2021 Singapore Senior Tournament

On the first weekend of February, our fencers participated in the 2021 Singapore Senior Tournament.

Congratulations to Coach Cheryl for attaining Silver! The last time Coach Cheryl fenced in a tournament was about 2 seasons ago. With a busy schedule, Coach Cheryl had little to no time for trainings. Despite that, Coach Cheryl put up a fantastic performance. Through tactical fencing knowledge and endurance, she attain the Silver medal. We believe that this achievement will encourage her students in future tournaments. Well done Coach Cheryl!

Special mentions to Coach Samson for achieving Top 8 in the Men's Epee Individual event on the same weekend.

2021 Singapore Senior Challenge

On 23 and 24 January, Our fencers participated in the 2021 Singapore Senior Challenge.

Congratulations to Coach Samson for attaining Bronze! It was rather unfortunate that Coach Samson suffered cramps during the semi final bout. However, with medical time outs and intervals during the bout, Coach Samson braved through the pain to finish the bout.

Congratulations to Choong Zi Cheng once again for clinching Silver in the Women's Epee Individual event. As a Cadet fencer, Zi Cheng fenced the extremely well at the senior level, winning most of her bouts by a good margin reaching the finals, where she settled for Silver.

2021 Singapore Cadet Challenge

On the 15th and 17th of January respectively, Our fencers participated in the 2021 Singapore Cadet Challenge.

Congratulations to Julien Lim for attaining Gold in the men's epee individual event. Fantastic showing by Julien, where he notably won the Gold medal bout with a score of 15-9. This competition was also the first cadet competition for some of our younger fencers. We believe that this achievement would serve his juniors the encouragement they need for future competitions. Well done Julien!

Congratulations to Choong Zi Cheng for attaining the Bronze in the Individual Women's Epee! Zi Cheng was seeded in the top 3 for the direct elimination round after convincingly winning 6 out of her 6 pools bouts, she then fenced her way to the semi finals, unfortunately meeting two of her teammates along the way.

Special mentions to Ona Koning for securing top 8. Ona fenced with great determination but missed out on the podium by just a single point.
