Men’s Épée Team Event

The Men’s Épée Team Event brought further cause for celebration as our talented boys demonstrated remarkable teamwork and determination. The SP team, which included our fencers Damien Tan, Jacob Lim, and Tan Ziyi, clinched the Gold medal. Meanwhile, Timothy Sim and his team secured the Silver medal, solidifying their status as formidable competitors.

Ashley Mae Harrison had a stellar performance at the 2023 Queensland Youth and Cadet Championships held in Brisbane on June 24. Notably, Ashley Mae achieved a remarkable feat by going undefeated throughout the entire championship, setting her on the path to claim both the Youth (U15) and (U17) Cadet Women's Epee Championship titles. 🥇🥇

A Rising Star

Ashley Mae currently holds the prestigious title of being the #1 U20 Women's Epeeist in the Philippines. Her remarkable talent was further showcased when she proudly represented the Philippines at the U20 World Championships in Bulgaria earlier this year. Her accomplishments at such a young age are a testament to her immense potential and dedication to the sport.


Looking Forward

Ashley Mae's journey doesn't end here. She will return to Brisbane in October to compete in the Queensland Open Championships, where she will undoubtedly be a force to be reckoned with.

But Ashley did not stop there. She went on to prove herself in the Women's Épée Open Individual event, securing yet another podium finish, this time with a well-deserved bronze medal.
