Women's Epee Individual Event

The 4th Leg Philippine National Open brought together top fencers from across the country to compete in the Women's Épée Individual Event. Amidst fierce competition, Ashley Mae Harrison shone, clinching the Gold Medal.

Ashley's journey is not just limited to this Gold Medal. Her consistency in finishing among the Top 4 in the past four Philippine National Open Ranking Competitions highlights her potential and the bright future that awaits her in the sport of fencing.

Men's Épée Individual Event

Over the weekend, our very own Coach Samson, achieved a remarkable feat by winning the Silver medal in the Men's Épée Individual Event.

One of the most remarkable aspects of Coach Samson's journey to Silver is his ability to balance a demanding coaching schedule with his personal training. I hope this achievement can also serve as an additional source of inspiration for our students.

We also witnessed another inspiring moment in the Women's Épée Individual Event when 15-year-old Ashley Mae Harrison, clinched the Bronze Medal.

Men’s Épée Individual Event

In a thrilling turn of events, the Men's Épée Individual fencing competition witnessed an all SGF finals, showcasing the talent and determination of our fencers. Despite the challenging conditions caused by faulty air conditioning, these athletes powered through the heat and humidity to make us proud.

These podium finishes were not achieved in isolation. They were the result of tireless training, the guidance of coaches, and the support of families and our community of fencers, who pushed one another on through difficult moments.
